Founded in 1979 by Mr. Kantibhai Dahyabhai Luhar and his four sons, Om Precision Engineering began its journey by solving a critical supply issue in the glass industry. Starting with nothing but skill and passion, Kantibhai — once a 13-year-old working at Alembic Glass — created the first successful shear blades in just 4 days.
Over the years, the business diversified into the textile machinery sector, manufacturing critical components like rotary bearings and separator rollers that were previously imported.
Today, Om Precision Engineering is powered by the second and third generation of the Luhar family. Each member contributes unique expertise — from CNC innovation and machine building to sales, exports, and product development — making it a truly unified force.
